I'm in love with the candy-cane aesthetic with this craft. You could certainly make them yourself, but if you can also buy 15 of them for a dollar, I'd go for it. I found these ready-made velvet mini-bows in a multi-pack at my local dollar store. I think it adds a charming finishing touch, but it's certainly not necessary. Use the low temperature hot glue gun (and I only specify that because I ALWAYS glue my fingers, and have felt the pain of high-temp glue guns several times in my life) to glue the ribbon loops to the cardstock cone base.Īdd a little ribbon bow to the top of the tree if you wish. Spray cookie cutters with pam spray and place them on the cookie sheet. Unwrap peppermint candy from plastic and set them aside. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, line cookie sheet with parchment paper. You can also make these as a gift to give to family and friends, home made gifts are always fun. These are pretty easy to make and will look wonderful on your tree (or anywhere else really).
